We love Cake smashes! There's nothing quite like a one-year old getting his/her first taste of sugary sweetness and normally we get some amazing photographs of the absolute glee.

However, sometimes it just doesn't go our way. We recently had a client who's little bundle of 1 year old joy wanted nothing to do with us. He didn't want to be in the vintage set we created just for him, he didn't want to be with the balloons and he definitely didn't want any cake!

Sometimes you just have to understand that they are little people with their own minds and take what you can get!

Despite all of this, we managed to get some shots for Mom and Dad and we all had a great laugh about it. This is one photoshoot they will never forget.
